Subscriber line fee is an additional $3.50 per month for your primary line and $6.07 per month for each additional non-primary line. (NJ is $5.92/month). National Access Fee is an additional $0.53 per month for your primary line and $1.50 per month for each additional non-primary line. Emergency 911 fee is an additional charge (Excluding NJ).
Beginning with your June 1999 bill, you may see a monthly Local Number Portability (LNP) charge. LNP permits customers to retain their existing local telephone number(s) when changing their local service provider, assuming there is no change in service location. The Federal Communications Commission has mandated that this charge, once established, will not be raised for a period of 5 years. The residential surcharge per access line is 23¢/month, in areas where LNP has been implemented.
